Radiation protection is one of the vital areas that ensure the safety of individuals and the environment from unsafe exposure to ionizing radiation, especially in nuclear medicine applications. This course aims to provide trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply the principles of radiation protection in a nuclear medicine environment, with a focus on personal and general protection while handling radioactive materials used in diagnosis and treatment. During this course, participants will learn about the basics of nuclear radiation, its types, health effects, as well as techniques and techniques.
